High on my lifetime adventure list is to drive (or cycle) the length of the Americas on the Pan American Highway. I'd want to take my time, spending several sessions exploring the places in between. I'm a side quests addict and would want to do hikes, kitesurfing and mountaineering along the way as well is stay for a while in cities towns that I (or we like).
I spent 6 months in a van a few years ago and loved it. I also love long cycle trips so could see either mode (or a combination of both).
