A five-day motorcycle trip across Bali on Snow White, a Royal Enfield Himalayan, riding from Denpasar through Sideman, up to the volcano at Mount Batur and northern waterfalls around Singaraja, before heading back south toward Ubud and finishing off in Uluwatu.

Stage 1: Denpasar to Sideman
I set off on Snow White, my Royal Enfield Himalayan, riding from Denpasar to Sideman. For the night, I stayed at The Bamboo House of Dreams, made by Putu.

Stage 2: Sideman to Kintamani
Riding Snow White from Sideman to Kintamani and the active volcano Mt Batur. I stayed in the cabin in the clouds at Cloud Hill Glamping: the accommodation of the trip. For someone that loves camping, living amongst nature with the trees and the bugs, and waking up in an extraordinary location that took my breath away, this was paradise for me.

Stage 3: Kintamani to Singaraja
I rode from Kintamani to Singaraja on Snow White, staying at the Triangle House in the hills, surrounded by waterfalls. The further north I went, the more I fell in love with Bali. Less tourists, less people, more authenticity, more wide-eyed stares and enormous grins at this bold girl on a monstrous moto, and the humble and harmonious heart of Bali started to beat brilliantly in front of me.

Stage 4: Singaraja to Ubud
From Singaraja to Ubud on Snow White, ending up at the Birds Nest on Level 4 at Firefly Ecolodge. It was one of the most unique overnight stays of my life. Climbing up bamboo nooks to the fourth level of a real-life birds nest, completely open to the jungle, the elements, and all types of bugs, grubs, and lizards. Perfectly bookended by my spotting a firefly as the lights went off and as I closed my eyes to sleep. I had the best sleep of my life; perhaps it was Leon the lizard keeping me company.

Stage 5: Ubud to Uluwatu
- Accommodation
- Cinnamon House in Roots Tree House
Another incredible and utterly unique place to sleep. A treehouse of my own, out of the bustle and traffic of Bali’s surf capital Uluwatu. I rested, and as I did, the wind blew my little house gently from side to side, rocking me in my wooden cradle to a peaceful sleep 🪑🪵🏚️
